5 Tips for Getting the Most Out of Your She Shed™ Candle
1. Burn it right the first time. The first burn sets the "memory" of your candle. Let it burn long enough for the entire top layer of wax to melt to the edges — this prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn every time after.
2. Trim your wick before every burn. Keep your cotton wick trimmed to about ¼ inch before each use. This reduces soot, controls flame height, and extends the life of your candle significantly.
3. Don't burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Give your candle (and yourself) a break. Burning longer than 4 hours can cause the wick to "mushroom," which affects scent throw and burn quality.
4. Keep it away from drafts. Candles near open windows, fans, or vents burn unevenly and can cause the wick to flicker excessively. Find a cozy, still spot for your She Shed™ candle to shine.
5. Repurpose your tumbler. Once your candle has burned down, clean out the remaining wax with warm water and use your gorgeous glass tumbler as a cocktail glass, a succulent planter, a makeup brush holder — the possibilities are endless.
