This is one of my favorite meals from when I was a kid. We grew up extremely poor and it was something that was filling, and most importantly, affordable, given that most of the ingredients are pantry staples. This recipe makes enough for 8 or more portions for under $7.00!
INGREDIENTS:
- (1) lb. Box - Elbow Macaroni
- (4) Cans - Tuna in Water [Drained from All but One)
- (1/2) Jar - Whipped Salad Dressing (We use ALDI)
- (4) Eggs - Hard Boiled, Peeled and Chopped
- (1/2) Stalk - Celery, Chopped (Keep Tops for Garnish, LOADS of Flavor)
- (2) Large - Bell Peppers, Chopped
- (1/2) Jar - Sweet Pickle Relish
- Lemon Pepper
- Celery Seed
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cook pasta 1 minute less than package directions. Drain. Combine Pasta with Salad Dressing, Canned Tuna (and water from one can), Chopped Vegetables, Eggs, and Relish. Season with Lemon Pepper and Celery Seed to Taste.
