October's National Apple Month turns the spotlight on a fruit with a remarkable journey. Apples originated in Central Asia, traveled along trade routes, and eventually became a familiar orchard crop in North America. Growers selected and shared varieties for eating fresh, cooking, and making cider, leaving us with far more to explore than a single kind of apple.
In many parts of the United States, autumn apple harvests have long brought neighbors together for picking, pressing, baking, and local festivals. National Apple Month is an opportunity to appreciate that work, from the care of orchard growers to the recipes families return to year after year.
Our Annual Apple Festival is OverSoyed's way of joining the celebration. Crisp, tart, sweet, or gently spiced, apple's many personalities give us plenty of reasons to savor the season.
Celebrate National Apple Month
Visit an orchard, compare a few apple varieties, or ask a grower which ones they favor for baking and cider. Make an apple crisp, trade family recipes, or invite friends to a tasting with both sweet and savory pairings. You can also take a quiet moment to enjoy the changing season.
For our Annual Apple Festival, we've curated products and fragrances to accompany those rituals across hand-poured soy candles, home fragrance and scentscaping, Lifestyle & Living Solutions™, and handmade-to-order bath, body, and beauty care. Select products and fragrances are 20% off.
